This is my writing journal. I've got fan fiction, and some original work. However, most of the original work will probably end up under f-locked entries as it can sometimes be extremely personal (especially my poetry). I started this because several of my friends like to keep up with my work and don't want to skip around to a ton of different sites. I feel the same way...it's why I tend to not post a fandom-specific sites. I realize this can cut out readership, etc., but I guess I'm a bit on the lazy side.

A little about my writing, and thus me, I suppose:
I'm a Creative Writing major focusing on Poetry at a major university with a pretty decent English/Writing program. In my free time, I do write fan fiction if I'm not working on an original project or reading a book. There are plenty of other CW majors that snub their noses at such prospects, but I do it to have fun. Fan fiction is a break from reality, and a break from the rigors of school.

My fan fiction comprises Star Wars and Harry Potter. I have two full-length fics in SW, and an incredibly old one for HP that I have retired to the bowels of my computer's memory. In between large projects, I come up with short vignettes and stories. In a slightly off-beat move, I'm also in the middle of writing a series of related stories for HP; however, the project has been put on hold until the release of HP7.

Last month in November I participated in NaNoWriMo. I plan to do it again this coming November, and may very well begin posting those as I see fit. In addition, I have all my poetry and scraps of other things accumulated over the years. As previously mentioned, this stuff may or may not be f-locked, I can be rather fickle about it.
